મીઠી મીઠી, લાગી માડી તારી માયાની જાળ

વીંટાતો રહ્યો છે સદાયે, એમાં તારો બાળ
ધીરે ધીરે રહી છે વીંટાતી, હૈયે બહુ જંજાળ
લાગે બહુ આકરી, છોડવી એ મધલાળ
લાળે લાળે, મધ તો ઝરતું, લાગે બહુ રસાળ
ભાન એમાં તો જાતું, એમાં સમજાયે ના કાળ

ભરી ભરી અમીના તો દીધાં અમને થાળ

In this bhajan of life approach,

Found sweet and sweeter, your web of illusion, O Divine Mother.
This child of yours has been swayed by it.
Slowly, slowly, have enveloped lot of tension in heart.
Finding it hard to let go of this honey like illusion.
With every drop of that honey, I feel very tempted.
Not realising the temptation, and have not understood the impact.
Many times, O Divine Mother, you look ferocious,
When I take wrong steps, O Mother, please take care of me.
Though you have given us pots of nectar, we have always remained dissatisfied, and we have always remained miserable.
Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is explaining that in the first place, we get allured by the fake sweetness of this illusion, which gets increasingly burdensome for us later. Instead of, counting our blessings and feeling the gratitude, we are always in search of something even more frivolous. Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is urging us to have satisfaction in life, which will lead us to internal joy and peace. Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is urging us to remain in gratitude for this human life, for all the blessings showered upon us, for all the happiness already given to us. We must acknowledge and value the grace of Divine Mother.
