જોતાં જોતાં રે તારી વાટલડી રે માડી (2)
ગઈ છે થાકી રે મારી આંખલડી
તોફાને તો હાલકડોલક થાય રે માડી
હાલકડોલક થાય રે મારી નાવલડી
ઊંચે ઊંચે ઊછળી ખાયે પછડાટ રે માડી
સંસાર સાગરે તો મારી નાવલડી
ચારેકોર છે પાણી, વચ્ચે છે નાવ રે માડી
સૂઝે ના દિશા તો ક્યાંયે જવાની
ટમકે છે તારલિયા ઘણા આકાશે રે માડી
કાજળઘેરી છે તો માડી રાતલડી
ઉપર તો આભ છે ને નીચે છે પાણી રે માડી
સમજાય ના ડૂબશે ક્યારે નાવલડી
સુકાન લઈ હાથમાં તારા, કિનારે લગાવ રે માડી
કિનારે લગાવજે રે આજ નાવલડી

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is requesting the Divine Mother to come and save the boat of life from the storm of this worldly ocean.

Kakaji requests
I am waiting and watching your way O'Mother.
My eyes have become tired.
In the storm, it is shaking up and down O'Mother.
The boat of my life is shaking up and down.
Higher and higher it jumps and bounces back O'Mother.
In the ocean of the world lies my boat.
There is water all around and in between is my boat O'Mother.
Cannot understand to go in which direction.
The stars are shining bright in the sky O'Mother
The darkness of the night is like an eyeliner.
Above there is the sky and below there is water O'Mother
Do not know when shall the boat of my life drown.
Further Kakaji requests the Divine Mother
Holding a rudder in your hand, take the boat of my life to the shore.
