મળવાને તને તો માડી, મનડાં ને હૈયા આજે અધીરા બન્યાં

મનડાંએ ખૂબ ઘૂમીને, બહુ ગુમાવ્યા તો જગમાં
જાગે છે ઇચ્છા, તાણે છે વાસના, વચ્ચે તો લટકી પડયા
કદી સફળતાના કેફમાં, કદી નિષ્ફળતામાં તો જળી રહ્યો
બંધાયા માયાના તાંતણે, તોડવા તો અઘરા બન્યા
આળસ તૂટતા સાચી ઝંખના, હૈયે તો જાગતા
દર્શન તો કરવા કાજે, વિચાર પણ તન્મય બન્યા
સુખ ભૂલ્યા તો જગનું, તુજમાં સુખને તો ગોતી રહ્યો
તારા દર્શન કાજે આંખો, તો આ જગ ફરી રહ્યો
ફરી ફરી પડયા ઢળી, તારા ચરણ ત્યાં મળી ગયાં

manadame khub ghumine, bahu gumavya to jag maa jaage
che ichchha, taane che vasana, vachche to lataki padaya
kadi saphalatana kephamam, kadi nishphalatana
tutanya aganya,
tanya tav sachi jankhana, haiye to jagat
darshan to karva kaje, vichaar pan tanmay banya
sukh bhulya to jaganum, tujh maa sukh ne to goti rahyo

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is engrossed in the love of the Divine Mother and he is longing to meet her. He is quite impatient, here he also says that if our devotion is truthful and clear then you are no far away from the Supreme.
Kakaji worships
To meet you O'Mother, my mind and heart is becoming impatient today.
My mind has wandered a lot and has made me wander a lot in the world.
The desires have woke up, lust is getting intense, and I am hanging in between.
Kakaji further portrays about his situation that
Sometimes surrounded by sucess and sometimes surrounded by failure . I am getting burnt.
Bound by the strings of illusions, it becomes difficult to break.
As the laziness broke, true desperateness woke up in the heart.
For getting your vision my thoughts also started intoxicating me.
Forgot the happiness of the world, and started searching happiness in you.
To get your vision I am roaming about in the whole world, and as wandering about I fell down and your feet were found there.
Here Kakaji means to say that as the true faith awakes in your heart then the search for the Divine ends & you find yourself at its lotus feet and no longer does the impact of success & failure stay.
