In this Gujarati bhajan Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) ji is making us aware of the truth and knowledge which we need to understand what is life all about, he is also making us understand & recognise the type of people near about us.

Words or medicine which rejuvenate you, always understand it to be nectar.
The words or medicine which makes your life dull ,always understand it as poison.
In happiness and sorrow whoever does not leave your company understand him or her to be your true partner .
The one who always pulls you towards sin, understand it to be your enemy.
The whole world suffers from which ever thing understand it to be a monster .
The whole world gets persuaded to worship someone, understand it to be God.
Sitting next to somebody if your mind attains peace understand him to be a saint.
Inside and outside whoever is there forever near you, understand it to be God.
Here Kakaji is educating us to know and recognise the type of people we are living with and what type of people can be helpful to us and what kind of people are harmful to us. He is also helping us to know and recognise who a saint is and recognising our inner self as God resides in our own self only.
