Explanation in English
In this Gujarati bhajan, Pujya Kakaji is singing praises in the glory of Lord Krishna.
He is saying…
O my dark skinned Lord (Lord Krishna), day and night you take care of everyone.
Nothing in this world remains beyond his sight.
He takes cattle for grazing. He is known as Nandakumar (one of the many names of Lord Krishna).
At the time of raas (Krishna’s favourite form of dance), he becomes the Chakradhaar (holding Sudarshan Chakra, his most powerful weapon in the form of a wheel, in his hand)
When devotees are in trouble, he comes running to protect them.
He rode the chariot in the Kurushetra (battlefield of Mahabharat between Pandavas and Kauravas) and Kauravas ended up losing the battle.
He lifted the mountain of Govardhan on his little finger, that is why he is called Govardhandhaar.
The worldly supports eventually break, but his support is infinite, so he is called Jugadadhaar (one who provides endless support).
He saves the sinking boat, he is the saviour of all, so he is called Taaranhaar (one who saves others from their misery).
