વાવશે બીજ તો આજે, મળશે ફળ એના કાલે

ખોઈ ધીરજ વચ્ચે, ફળને તો ના ગુમાવ
કોઈ તો ફળ કાલ દેશે, કોઈને તો લાગશે વાર
કીધી મહેનત આશ સાથે, છોડજે ના વચ્ચે આશ
કરશે કસોટી, પ્રેમ ધીરજની, ત્યજજે ના મક્કમતા
પ્રવાસ તો છે લાંબો તારો, કર્યો શરૂ, કરીને નિર્ધાર
કર્મના ફળ રહે મળતા, કોઈ પાકે આજે તો કોઈ કાલ
બીજમાંથી બન્યો માનવ, થાતા મોટા લાગે વાર
સહી ધરતી તાઢ ને તાપ, મળી ત્યારે વર્ષાની ધાર
સમય પાક્યા વિના, ના લીધો, પ્રભુએ તો અવતાર

In this Gujarati bhajan, Pujya Kakaji is saying…
After you sow the seeds, the fruits of it will be available someday.
If you lose the patience in between, then you may lose the chance of obtaining the fruit.
Some will give the fruits tomorrow, some may take time.
You have worked hard keeping up the hope, do not lose the hope in between.
The patience will be tested. Do not lose your firmness in between.
The journey of your's is long and you have embarked upon it with determination.
The fruits of your actions will keep coming, some will ripe today. Some will ripe tomorrow.
A human is also made from a seed and it takes time for a child to grow.
The earth also encounters heat and cold before it receives rain.
Without due time, even God has not been incarnated.
Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is explaining two concepts in the bhajan. First is that fruits of patience are sweeter, and second is that everything in life happens in due course of time. Nothing in the universe happens before or after the destined time. One must watch the process of nature with patience, right hope and determination. Instant gratification, losing patience and hope is not the universally defined process. One must follow the principle of Nature and God.
