Unwisely spent your life, its time now to be wise.
Have been doing throughout life, know not reached how far,
Live your life, throughout life, like a sparkling star.
Aim not at the goal, throwing stone so wild;
Will not hit the goal by throwing stone so mild.
Could not see, what had to be seen, in broad daylight;
How do you expect to see, in darkness of night?
Everglowing, everflowing light as you are;
It is thy presence, which gives meaning to our life.

In this English hymn, He advises us to start our journey as follows -
We have been spending our life on unimportant issues and it is high time that we stop this
It is time for us to change our focus to our soul and no longer on all the external, bodily trappings of human life which are only temporary
We have already wasted so much time in trivial pursuits and do not realize that we have not made any progress at all in this life
It is now time to pray and surrender ourself to God
If we do not make a sincere effort, then we will again waste our time and effort
We did not realize what all we had to do in this life and we will never realize it either if we don't turn to God for help
The moment we turn to God, our life will change completely
God will make sure that only the best happens for us
We will change completely with His grace and will not lack anything by surrendering to Him completely In this hymn, our dear Kaka advises us to stop focusing on this material world all day, every day and on our common life, but rather to focus on our eternal soul within us. If we spend the similar amount of effort and time on doing the right actions, it will trigger our real soul. The real significance of our life will become apparent to us and what our own path in this life and going forward should be. By surrendering to the Almighty, we will be enabled to achieve this sooner rather later or never.
