Uncha Uncha Dungre Re Bedha Che Daataar

(Arihant, Jamiyalsa Datar)

Gujarati Bhajan no. 122 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Lyrics in English
unch uncha dungare re betha che dataar
na dekhava chhata kare bhakto ne pokaar
vividh bhakto avata, aavata eni paas
sarveni aash puratam, karta na koine nirash
sarvene samadrishtithi jotam, nathi koi bhedabhava
bhaktona kamo thatam, je rakhe ena maa vishvas
saacha dil thi je yaad karata, dodatam teni paas
darshan tena pamatam, dhanya thai jaaye tena shvas
a jag maa kai nathi, je na aapi shake dataar
kripa saad utarajo, o jamiyalasha dataar

Explanation in English
Here Kaka is talking about the grace of a Saint/Peer,  Jamiyalsha Datar .....

He sits on top of the mountain, cannot be seen by people, but yet devotees can hear his calling.
A diverse group of devotees go to his dargah (tomb). He fulfills everyone's wishes and disappoints no one.
He does not discriminate and treats everyone equal.
A devotee’s wish is fulfilled only if his faith
is unshakable.
If you remember him from the depth of your heart, you will get a chance to go to Datar and get to see the Peer for sure. Your every moment will be blessed after that. There is nothing that is out of his reach in this world.
Please bestow us with your blessings O Jamiyalsa Datar.

Who is Jamiyalsha Datar?
