Ability, ability, ability; in life we have to increase our ability,

By increasing ability, we should not move away for responsibility,

We have to adjust in life, we have to increase our adjustability,

We have not to become rigid in life, we have to increase flexibility,

We have to increase our ability, to achieve in life tranquility.

By increasing ability in life, is sure way towards stability

Wrong efforts in life, will always and always end in futility

Every field you will shine out if you have increased your ability,

Favourable or adverse situation should not effect ability

Every situation in life, will require to handle with ability.

English Explanation

In this English hymn, Kaka is showing us how to enhance God’s given gifts to us through His grace and our karma (past actions) -

Each of us has been granted many capabilities and strengths, which are also meant to overcome any our weaknesses

So, we must always try to increase our ability as our true potentiality has not been limited automatically or by anything

Once we increase our abilities, we should not forget about our responsibilities

We have to be able to adjust to all varying and constantly changing circumstances in life and for this, we must improve our ability to adjust and compromise

We should not become unrelenting and be able to increase our capacity to accept differing situations

We have to increase our understanding of others and things beyond our/their control to help us achieve calmness in life

When we increase our capabilities, we will be able to achieve certain necessities, which will result in some contentment and enable us to have some stability

If we make wrong efforts, we will not get the desired results and our efforts will be wasted

If we increase our capability in any areas to a high degree, we are sure to achieve higher level of competence

Any type of situations that we have to face will not decrease our aptitude and resourcefulness ; in fact, it can only help us in all situations

So, we should not spare any efforts in enhancing our capabilities, skills and talents continually to help others more and more and for helping us to go closer to becoming one with God. But, we must guard against misunderstanding expectations that more and more material achievements from our capabilities will result in more and more contentment and closeness to God, as this would only be a temporary illusion.
