ક્ષણિક આનંદ પાછળ સંસારમાં દોડીને
ક્ષણિક આનંદ પાછળ સંસારમાં દોડીને
તારી પરમાનંદની ખોજ અધૂરી રહી જાશે
સંસારમાં રહીને, મેલ જો તું નહિ ધોવે
તારા મેલના પડ મન પર સદા ચડતા જાશે
અભિમાન કાજે જો જાગૃતિ નહિ રાખે
તારા અભિમાનના ભાર ઊંડી ખીણમાં ધકેલાઈ જાશે
કામ ક્રોધને હૈયેથી જો તું નહીં હટાવે
તારા હૈયાને એ મજબૂત જકડી રાખશે
લોભની કદી અવગણના તું ના કરતો
તને ક્યારે ક્યાં ને ક્યાં એ ખેંચી જાશે
માયાના બંધન સદા તને પ્યારા લાગશે
બંધાશે જો તું એમાં, છૂટવું આકરું લાગશે
ધીરજની મૂડી સદા તું ભેગી કરી રાખજે
તને સદા એ વાતે વાતે કામ તો લાગશે
નામ સ્મરણનો તાંતણો, હૈયે તું બાંધી રાખજે
સદા સુખદુઃખમાં તારો એ સહારો બની જાશે
શ્રદ્ધાનો દીપ જલાવી, પ્રેમથી એને જલતો રાખજે
એ દીપ તારા જીવનને સદા ઉજાળી નાખશે

In this Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is explaining and asking us to again and again clean our mind and be aware of lust and anger as it shall conquer you if not taken care.
Running into the world behind momentary pleasure.
Your search for bliss shall remain incomplete.
Staying in this world if you don't wash your dirt, then the layer of dirt shall reflect on your mind.
Don't be aware to keep your pride awake.
Pride with all its weight shall be pushed in the deep valley. If you don't get rid of lust and anger from your heart.
Kakaji explains so clearly
It shall capture your heart strongly.
Do not pay attention to greed, as it shall drag you from where to where.
The bond of illusionary love shall always be near & dear to you.
To be released from it you shall find it unreasonable.
Always accumulate the capital of patience, as you shall always need it in your way.
Tie your heart with the strings of name chanting.
As it shall always be your support in happiness and sorrow.
Light the lamp of faith, keep it burning with love.
This lamp shall brighten your life forever.
