In this English hymn, Kaka is showing his utmost desire to be one with God through His prayers
When anyone talks or thinks of being one with God, it basically means that there should be no separation from God in any way
There is no wall or space or difference of any kind that is even necessary to be kept between God and us
God knows every single thing about us, where we come from, what we are going to do and where we will be going
So, there is no point in trying to hide anything from God or thinking that he will not come to know
When we come to acknowledge the Divinity of God and his being the Supreme Being in this whole universe now and forever, we will want to reach out to Him
Once this realization takes firm hold in us, we will automatically want to become a part of Him
As we come to know of His love for us and how He has kept us under his protective umbrella, we will also want to show our gratefulness to Him and our love for Him
Our only goal and hope will be to reach Him and become one with Him
Kaka is beseeching God and only through such desperation, can there be complete focus, dedication, sincerity to reach God. Only when God himself feels this pure, unadulterated call from his devotee, will He grace him with his wishes. So, if you truly yearn for God, then God will also come running to you and make you one with Him.
