In this English hymn, He asks God to help us to connect with Him
Even though we are not a machine but a living soul, we do things just by habit or rote
Since I do not know what I should do, God, you please guide me what to do
I do things in my life without thinking through properly and so, I do not get results of my actions
If You are there guiding me, God, I am sure that you will help me be fine and anything that I do, you will always ensure that it is the right thing
Everything that I do, it will be just for You and I will not hesitate to say so
When I surrender to You, I know that You will accept me for what I am and I will be fine
If I do what you want me to do, I will be able to forget about everything else and be only in bliss
I will only keep You as my focus for doing anything in life and anything that I do, it will only be for You
Pujya Kakaji informs us that even though we do not know what are the right things to do in life, we should surrender ourselves to God and he will guide us, such that anything we do, He will make us do only the right things. If not, we will be just floundering around on our own and we will never be able to achieve what we want, let alone what God wants the best for us. But, if we concentrate on God, then He will ensure that we are fine. If we let Him do whatever He wants for us and dedicate ourself to Him, He will clear all obstacles out of our life such that we will achieve everything and be truly happy.
