કદી કદી તું તો લેજે, કદી કદી તો તું દેજે
કદી કદી તું તો લેજે, કદી કદી તો તું દેજે
સદા હાથ લેવા ના ધરજે, કદી હાથતાળી તો મળશે
દુનિયા તો છે બહુરંગી, સદા એકરંગ નવ મળશે
મળે રંગ જે તને, તેમાં આનંદ સદા તો લેજે
રંગ તો સદા બદલાતા રહ્યા, એકરંગ નવ રહેશે
રંગેરંગના મિશ્રણથી તો રંગ નવો બનશે
સંધ્યાના ને ઉષાના, નિતનવા રંગ તો ખીલશે
આનંદ ઊર્મિની ભરતી હૈયામાં એ તો ભરશે
માનવ વૃત્તિના રંગ તો સદા બદલાતા રહેશે
એકવૃત્તિમાં માનવ ઘણી મુશ્કેલીથી રહેશે
બદલાતી વૃત્તિના વેગે, ચિત્ત ચંચળ તો બનશે
ભક્તિરસમાં ડૂબશે વૃત્તિ, એ એકરંગ તો લેશે

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati Bhajan, Kakaji is talking about the approach towards life, comparing colors with life. As life has different colors, it has different approaches too.
Kakaji explains
Sometimes you take, sometimes you give.
Do not always spread your hands, sometimes you can also get a clap in your hands
The world is multicolored, you shall never get one color in it.
Whatever color you get, enjoy your life in it.
Here Kakaji means to say whatever life you get try to enjoy it.
The colors keep on always changing, you shall never get only one color in it.
With the combination of colors, you shall make a new color.
In the evening and at dawn, every day new colors shall bloom.
Then the tide of happiness shall fill in the heart.
Human beings' instincts shall always keep on changing.
Staying in one instinct becomes quite difficult for a human.
In the flow of changing instincts, the mind becomes fickle in it.
Kakaji concludes
When the instinct starts drowning in devotion, then it shall transform into a single color.
This shall be the stage when mind body and soul becomes one then there is stability in life and things start stabilizing.
