Perfection, perfection, perfection

We will have to strive hard in life for perfection

It will need right thought and right action and action

Right direction and right action will lead to perfection

Half action and half inaction cannot bring perfection

Reaction and reaction will hamper action for perfection

Goal of perfection in life will give spirit of perfection

Neither here and neither there can never reach perfection

Reach and reach perfection, no other way to perfection

Mere saying and no action cannot bring perfection.

English Explanation

In this English hymn, Kaka tells us the importance of always putting in our best effort in all our work and not just selective work -

All of us do a lot of tasks, various work and multitude of things every day of our life

We must do everything in the best possible way and not just do something so that you can finish dealing with it or do it partially or keep pending for later ; our goal should be perfection in all our work

To achieve this, we must have the right thoughts and the right actions must follow this as mere right intentions is not sufficient

When things are done in the right way, it will lead to the best results possible

Doing things halfway or not completing things will not bring any results, let alone the best results

If we keep resisting mentally to do all the right things in all the right ways in the right times, this will also not lead to the best results

If we keep the highest goal in life, which is perfection in everything, then we will always want to do everything perfectly and this will be become a standard goal for doing everything

This needs to become ingrained in us for whatever type of effort that we do

Dilly dallying in our efforts and putting in the bare minimum efforts required will not enable us to achieve the best results

Just wishing for the best results and not putting in any action or effort or putting in insufficient action and effort, it will be a waste of the capabilities that God has given each one of us

God has made each one of us with so much love and care that He has ensured to equip us with the capability to do the best and achieve the best. However, we do not wish to either focus properly or do not care enough or just don't want to be bothered or do not wish to put in our best effort, whereby we slack off in our efforts. Most of the results will be apparent and reflect the efforts actually put in, with positive results attributed to hard work and ineffective results attributed to our destiny and karma (result of past actions in this life or previous lives). But, putting in the best efforts to achieve perfection in all aspects of our life will lead us to eventually eliminate all our bad karma, while also enabling us with the best karma and lead us to becoming one with God.
