In this English hymn, Kaka is guiding us not to be indecisive or procrastinate in nay aspect of our life -
We all have many duties and responsibilities in life that we need to complete, both towards others and to our own self on our own spiritual journey
We are blessed with the ability to think and become aware of what must be done and we need to actually start doing it, which is not to say, we do not do any required preparations and planning nor seek whatever help that may be needed for us to accomplish what is necessary
But, we must not get bogged down in questioning what is the need to do something, why must it be done now, why must I be the one to do so, why not wait for better time or circumstances, why not do only when it becomes critical to do so and so forth
By just deliberating and not taking any action, we will still not be prepared for anything that may come our way ; but, by taking the necessary action, we will know what are the actual issues and be able to better face the difficulties that arise
If we are able to chart out a path of action in our mind by considering whatever that may happen and then actually taking the necessary action, we are surely moving forward on the necessary path, rather than stagnating at the same place
If we are able to focus more on the positive, potential prospects, we will be able to take firm actions
Just thinking of all the things that can go wrong based on our actions and therefore hesitate to even take the necessary actions, it is bound to paralyze us in inaction with no possibility of any progress
Many times we may be confused if we are doing anything correctly or incorrectly or if something will become detrimental or beneficial to us, regardless of whatever the result may be, we will have no choice but to take action one way or another
Once we have decided to take an action and go ahead with carrying it out, we must try to avoid any conflicts with anyone or anything by carrying out our action without letting our emotions coming into play
Any action that we do with the correct intention in the best way possible is already having a good start and even a higher probability of success
This is easy and obvious for us to hear and while we even understand it, it may be often difficult for us to actually act on this basis. This is where we must surrender ourselves to the Almighty and let Him do whatever He wants for us. We can find reaffirmation in the thousands of hymns Kaka has written with direct Divine intervention and inspiration.
