Never trust a neighbour, always say good bye
Never trust a neighbour, always say good bye
We are out to meet others, always stick to one guy
When you have to meet everyone, why feel shy
Never you will feel at ease, always try and try
At times in life, feel from inside, want to cry
To be popular in life, there is no limit to sky
We are in this universe, still nowhere and why
Our heart is wet with love, still feel dry.

In this English hymn, He is informing us about the value of interactions with others and what are the possible results -
It is our human nature to want to know everyone near us and even afar by establishing some connections
But, it is not worth focusing all our time on this, even with people whom we feel to be the closest to us
Despite our desire to connect well with everyone, we should focus only on limited relationships but develop those into significant and meaningful relationships
But, when we do attempt to connect with one or all, we should not hesitate in any way
Even though we may not feel ourselves comfortable amongst everyone, we must still keep trying
Many a times, we may experience distraught within us and be unable to share it with anyone
It is an endless task to be prominent and accepted by everyone
Even though we are a part of this universe, we still feel insignificant but do not know it
We are eager to love and receive love from everyone, but yet we do not get it
The above helps to illustrate the futility of human relationships and our inordinate focus on interactions with others. In this era of shallow Facebook style relationships, we may have lots of acquaintances, but it is the quality of relationships that matter and not the quantity. Our expectations have to be tempered suitably. The only significant relationship that is worth fostering and nurturing continuously without any wavering is our relationship with the Almighty. Only our relationship with God can be truly fulfilling in all ways possible and everything else will just be a temporary illusion of contentment.
