English Bhajan no. 5307 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka
Wander here and wander there, wander everywhere
If you will wander within you, you will find wonders over there
You needn’t have headlights, you will have to traverse through darkness over there
A beam of light will engulf you, that is your own light
You will be traveling out of bonds of time and space
You will feel and feel, you are floating in Almighty’s grace
Shed off fear, you are not alone; your experience will be there
You will not be let down; Almighty will take your care

Explanation in English
In this English hymn, Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) encourages us to start our inner, spiritual journey and what we can experience -
We go in and out of our homes daily, we travel in and out of our city frequently and also travel in and out of our country occasionally
But, we do not go in and out within our own self ; if we were able to do so, we would be amazed at what we will find
This travel within our self does not require any kind of light as we would go through our own state of mind, which will generally feel dark under a sort of a black out
We will then feel a light in our mind, somehow caused within us
We will experience a feeling of being in a vast, endless space and where time is of no consequence at all such that hours and days do not have any meaning whatsoever of any type
We may feel like we are in space with no pull of gravity such that you are floating weightlessly in an endless open space
We will overwhelmed with such incredible feeling that has never been known in a normal human life and this feeling can only be due to our being present in the Divine Grace
We will feel no fear whatsoever of any type and this experience will only reaffirm once and for all, the presence and grace of God
Our heart will surge with so much joy that we will totally cease to be our own self and become one with God
This description of the spiritual journey is so fantastic that it is not possible to give it proper justice in this hymn itself. The only way to understand this is to actually start on this journey itself and keep going on and on and on …

He has written about 10,000 hymns which cover various aspects of spirituality, such as devotion, inner knowledge, truth, meditation, right action and right living. Most of the Bhajans are in Gujarati, but there is also a treasure trove of Bhajans in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
